  • The most common type of diesel fuel. It is refined from crude oil and used widely in trucks, buses, and heavy machinery. Red Dye or Clear qualities.
  • Made from renewable sources such as vegetable oils or animal fats. Biodiesel can be used in pure form (B100) or blended with petroleum diesel (common blends include B20, which is 20% biodiesel, and B5, which is 5% biodiesel).
  • Also known as gas-to-liquid (GTL) diesel, it is created from natural gas or biomass through a chemical process. It burns cleaner than conventional diesel.
  • Diesel with significantly reduced sulfur content, mandated in many countries to reduce emissions and improve air quality.
  • Similar to biodiesel but processed differently to produce a fuel that meets the specifications of petroleum diesel. It can be used without blending.
  • Typically has an octane rating of 87. It's the most common type of gasoline for standard cars and light trucks.
  • Generally has an octane rating of 89 or 90. Used in vehicles that require a higher octane than regular unleaded.
  • Has a higher octane rating (91 or above) that is often required or recommended for high-performance or luxury vehicles.
  • These include common blends like E10 (10% ethanol, 90% gasoline) and E15 (15% ethanol). E85, which contains up to 85% ethanol, is used in flex-fuel vehicles.
  • Specially blended to burn cleaner and reduce smog and other emissions. Required in some urban areas.
  • Used in fleets of vehicles that have been adapted for natural gas use. It is also used in industrial and manufacturing processes because of its cost-effectiveness and reduced emissions.
  • Utilized in transportation (propane-powered vehicles), agriculture (irrigation pumps), and as a backup power source for businesses.
  • Essential for commercial aviation and aerospace sectors. It is refined for aircraft, both passenger and cargo. Kerosene is used in aviation (for smaller aircraft), as well as in industrial heating and lighting solutions.
